Hanu Reddy Residences

My family and I have stayed at Hanu Reddy Residences at three different times over the past seven years, our most recent stay being in January 2018. The majority of the staff have been with them during this whole time. Service and food have always been excellent, and the staff attend to the guests' needs very efficiently and cheerfully. The location is very convenient for shopping and access to other parts of Chennai. The terrace or rooftop provides a quite and peaceful setting for morning exercise/meditation. There are parrots galore in the surrounding trees! While in the past I have had issues with their internet speed, it seems to have been resolved. Ramesh, the property manager, does a fine job of making sure the place runs like a well-oiled machine. Two other staff also deserve mention - Mahesh and Adarsh. We had an early flight out, and they both cheerfully woke up at 4:00 am to make sure the gates were opened for the taxi to pull in, wheeled all our luggage out quietly, and saw us off like family.

This is a very well cared for and very well staffed delightful hotel.The place is well fenced,plants and flowers around. Staff were very efficient and attentive from our arrival till our 4am departure.You can walk to fantastic restaurants and shopping is close by.The room was clean and quiet for a great night's sleep.I booked again for our last night in India and when I realized our flight was for 1.10am I realized we did not need a room but forgot to cancel. This little hotel is the perfect place to spend time in Chennai. It is super clean, very cute and in a safe neighborhood (we were two women traveling and didn’t feel worried).Every single member of the staff is warm and everyone made their best to make our stay as good as possible. It comes from little attentions in the room with toothpaste, toothbrush and brush available, to booking autorikshaw or taxi at the best price or customizing the food to our taste. Breakfast is great Indian style, we were very happy to discover new dishes and the staff explained every plate to us. The milk tea is very nice as well.Go for it without any hesitation, it is great for family, couples, friends and business, whether you stay for a few days or more.Special thank to Ranjan who we were mainly dealing with at the reception, his service was outstanding, he was very professional and nice.

In essence, Hanu Reddy Residences represent an epitome of fine services in a residential apartment front. The decor and the surroundings beside local are equally superb. This is a place to stay for a short as well as longer periods and one will love this place as we did.

This place is extremely clean and well-maintained by a caring staff, and is offered at a modest price. I found this to be a true home away from home and plan to be here (or at the very similar original property, Wallace gardens location) every time I come to Chennai. Wonderful hotel in a quiet neighbourhood but close to anything you need. Rooms are comfortable, roof top space is a nice bonus, attractive common areas. Breakfast is standard but other meals, especially at night, are excellent. You order and they let you know when it’s ready. There are other options close by.The biggest asset is the people: friendly, helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. A nice option to steel and glass on busy streets.

I cannot give enough praise to this excellent Residence in Chennai. We stayed for about 4 days each of three visits within a month's time. Our rooms were always clean, spacious and comfortable. I cannot say enough about the staff - from the professional office staff, to the friendly and helpful kitchen/dining staff, to the custodial staff - all were wonderful. We were lucky enough to meet the owners who were gracious and informative. A special treat for me was a wedding held at this venue - which fell on my birthday! Beautiful and well taken care of grounds and terrific location, I recommend it highly.

We decided to stay in hanu reddy residences a few days ahead of our aunts surgery in chennai TN and selected this hotel due to generally positive reviews, We were certainly not disappointed. Above all the staff are excellent, they are courteous and helpful .The location is brilliant, it is home to beautiful trees, plants and birds. The hotel itself is well-equipped spacious and comfortable rooms and the staff demonstrate a very genuine, outstanding service ethic. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for us and which instils a warm sense of home.

We stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful 30 room hotel in a treat filled part of Chennai. From the moment we arrived we were treated as part of a big family from Mr Praveen and Monika in reception, to Ashok in the dining room and the cleaning ladies Aneetha and Preethi everyone was welcoming with smiles and help. The above names are the ones I remember, though every member of staff was the same. They are all a credit to the Hanu Reddy hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. The breakfast was delicious whether Indian or Corn Flakes and toast. 4 peaceful nights sleep and help in reception when asked. There is also access to the extensive roof where there are many flowers,plants and trees where you could sunbathe or just relax. This hotel with it's wonderful staff is one of the best we have ever stayed in and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Many thanks to you all and should we return to Chennai then this is where we will stay. 100 per cent!!
