Hospitality during a pandemic.I stayed for nearly 10 days at HRR Poes Garden in the midst of the pandemic. The stay was very comfortable. The rooms are large and clean. I particularly liked the hard mattress, which provided good back support. Many hotel rooms have very soft mattresses, which may be okay for one or two nights, but not for long. The mattress in my room was not like that. During a long stay, the other problem could be food - again, this was not a problem at all. One can eat their food day in and day out because it wasn't too oily or spicy. An especially enjoyable aspect of HRR Poes Garden was the roof garden on the terrace. I spent many hours walking there. Finally, I should compliment the staff, in particular Mr. Seeman, who is very attentive to the comfort of the guests. He was prompt with his communications right from when I was planning the visit and all through my stay. He would call up to check if I needed breakfast or dinner or to ask whether I would like something special for lunch. On the whole, this was a really excellent experience and I recommend HRR Poes Garden to everyone.

My cosy and sweet home in Chennai Hanu Reddy residences are my home in Chennai. It has everything greenery, pleasant, blissful atmosphere and most importantly kind, honest and helpful staff. Beautiful oasis in Poes Garden,Chennai. Hanu Reddy is a lovely place to stay in a calm and leafy part of Chennai. Not only does the hotel serve delicious and authentic local cuisine, but the hotel is also surrounded by three extremely delicious and characterful restaurants in DesiDi, EntreKerala and The English Tea Room. The hotel serves a great breakfast and has lovely plants and decorations everywhere and a brilliant rooftop terrace. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Hannu Reddy!

Lovely Accommodations, Great Staff From the moment my wife and I arrived, the staff was helpful and very pleasant. The landscaping was well done and our room was very spacious. They provided a room safe, ironing board with iron and bottled water daily. The rate was very affordable and the free breakfast was extremely good. I know--my wife is from Chennai and is an amazing cook. Situated close to 3 great restaurants: Desi Di, Eastern Wedge (our favor) and Entre Kerulum (also fantastic), there was variety galore. The only negative was the weak WiFi, but that was minor compared to the entire scene. I highly recommend this place for a great Chennai stay.

The stay was good overall. Safe car parking, functional AC and TV, functional remotes and telephone, spacious room and bathroom and good mattress. Bathroom fittings are very old but functional. There is no lift in the facility, one will have to be ready to climb some steps. Location is excellent, breakfast very good and staff very courteous and helping. . Lovely Guesthouse:If you don’t want to stay in a hotel and prefer something less commercial, this is a lovely guest house with sumptuous Indian breakfast on offer in one of the best residential neighbourhoods in Chennai with large, clean rooms set in a green, quiet area. Functional, small gym on premises and not far from 2 of the very few public parks in Chennai if you want a run (besides the beach a couple of kms away). Special thanks to Ajay and Samar for their great service at breakfast and with the daily cleaning. We’ll be recommending this to others visiting Chennai.

I stayed 4 nights at Hanu Reddy Residences Poes Garden while in Chennai for a conference. The hotel is very well located in a quiet and very lovely neighbourhood of easy access to the centre and the airport. The hotel had a very peaceful atmosphere with lots beautiful outdoor areas, and comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms and excellent wifi signal. The breakfast buffet was very delicious, I really enjoyed the dosas and sambar, and loved the tea. And the evening meals prepared by Ravi were very good! A special mention to the staff, at the front office, Praveen, Karthik and Seemaan, as well as Guru, who were always very helpful and professional. They were always ready to give advice and suggestions and made me feel welcome. Thank you. I hope to return!
